Your Bio

By education I'm a nuclear physicist, by profession an engineer and then a senior systems analyst and manager in a software development company. And as you can probably tell, I am a practitioner of Tibetan Buddhism.
After 30-some years of film photography I converted to digital and am having a ball - digital allows me to take the photos I never could do with film (without a color darkroom). I have always used Olympus DSLRs, mostly because of their great (and lighter weight) lenses. I started with one of their first DSLRs, a C2500L, graduated to an E-20 and then an E-500, and now use an E-3. I have also used a Fuji Finepix E550 point-and-shoot but now use an Olympus SP550UZ for a grab-and-go camera.
My e-mail address is: tkurkowski at earthlink dot net.
